The People Demand the Zwift Ride Shifter be sold separately! Many of us have already dedicated trainer bikes and virtual shifting. Standard shifters get in the way, and the Zwift play controllers are okay, but they are not the most ergonomic. We want to be able to install the Zwift ride shifters on our trainer bike!

Please please please sell the controllers on their own for people with dedicated training bikes!

Will virtual shifting protocol be shared with other platforms?

Towards the end it says do not store vertically. What is the reason? I have seen a couple of reviews that suggest you can store vertically ...

You stated the controllers will automatically turn off after 3 minutes if not used. Does this include during the middle of a ride?

I bought the Zwift Play mainly for the virtual shifting and discovered that it wasn't compatible with my smart bike (Bodytone SMB1 V3) or any smartbike in fact. It's a simple +1 or -1 on the resistance of my smart bike that Zwift already controls ! Please update this !

Looks nice! Will be waiting for the frame to be sold separatly, and for @wahoofitness to release a new firmware for kickr V5 to support v-gears. Also variable or changeable crank arm length is mandatory!

I believe it is missing an important feature, which is degree of freedom for lateral and longitudinal movement in order to avoid overload on the hips, a common problem people have when riding a lot indoor.

Do i need to get the zwift cog with this to let virtual shifting work ? Or does zwift click work for V shifting alone ?

Complete fail. Not as nice as using my own bike instead. I can get a used bike for something dedicated. The button shifting is a poor simulation of real shifting. There's no built-in climb functionality. Waste of money! Zwift is a software company. Stick to that. More online roads! Optional real-world riding.

Zwift is missing a big opportunity by holding off on releasing the bike separately for those of us who already have a Kickr. This is the northern hemisphere summer, when a lot of people are taking their bikes off the trainer and riding outdoors. The trainer-specific bike would be a great complement for those days and times that riding outdoors is problematic. Waiting until late autumn means waiting until people are already putting their bikes back on the trainers which means they won't need the trainer-specific bike.

Deliberately preventing people from using any other crank or bottom bracket by using a non ISO sized proprietary square taper bottom bracket is truly a scumbag move from Zwift. 170mm cranks are a deal breaker for a lot of people.

Meantime, you increased yearly cost of 50€

175mm cranks? And a sweat fender for the chain.

Imagine buying this and then zwift goes bankrupt or stops support on this frame. You'll be stuck with a useless worthless piece of tech.

If this would have been available when i started out i would 💯 have gone for it. Looks great.

I assumed the front black fork was a climb and would change the angle for uphill and down. Big miss. Didn’t bother with the rest of the video once I realized

Will the forks be compatible with the Kickr climb? Most people already have the hardware so the package wont interest most people, but the adjustment for different people is where it’s at so this needs to be effortless and you also need family subscriptions to compliment.
